"Convinced by the reviews here and on other sites that this work bag was exactly what we've been looking for, I launched an extensive web search to find one.
I tracked down lead after lead, even calling some stores that purported to have this bag, and was finally at the point of giving up, when on an impulse, I called Carhartt.
The woman I spoke to was everything you'd want in a customer service rep: pleasant, knowledgeable, and very interested in what I had to say and in helping me out. She verified that Carhartt isn't making this bag anymore, but told me that if enough people asked them to bring it back, they would!
She also made a number of suggestions for finding a retailer that had one, but after she understood I'd alreday searched extensively, she told me she'd actually SEEN one in a store in Michigan recently, and gave me their phone number. Five minutes later, the bag was on its way to us, and at a decent price. (I'd mention the store, but I got the very last one they had.)
Of course, the bag is everything that everyone says it is-- the absolute best. Like a piece of fine furniture, the design and attention to detail is stunning.
My husband and I are renovating an old house, a process that will take years, and this bag is going to get a long and tough workout. Just dragging it back and forth through the dirt into the crawl space where we're redoing plumbing and ductwork will test the limits of Carhartt construction, but I have faith this bag will hold up.
Please add your voice--call or write to Carhartt and let them know it's time to bring back the best work bag ever made."

"I use this bag to hold my tile setting gear. Grinders, scrapers, hammers, chisels, tape measures and a ton of other stuff all fit in this bag no problem. I love the wide mouth zipper opening which makes finding things easy. Zipper is large and heavy duty. MANY pockets inside and out for keeping things organized. Includes an adjustable padded shoulder strap that can be hooked on if needed. The bottom of the bag is reinforced and has two plastic rails that protect the bottom of the bag (plus the surface you put it on) This makes the bag more rigid and more like a tool box vs. a duffel bag. I have both the Large and Med bags and have found them both very useful and incredibly tough as I have come to expect with Carhartt products."

My guy was happy!
Date:December 10, 2010
"I bought this for my son and husband. We could not believe how big it was and it is very good quality and fits everything they need to put in it. I am going to buy a few more the the other men in my family."
"I was in our local "Garden And Tractor" store on an unrelated matter, and while walking through the Carhartt section I noticed this bag, examined it and determined it would be ideal for my needs.
I'm a Professional Musician by trade, while not exactly what one would expect a traditional Carhartt purchaser to be, I need a rugged, durable tote bag to store and carry the smaller tools, and equipment of MY trade from Gig to Gig. Like all in my trade, I'm rough on items like tote bags. I need something that's going to last and not have to be replaced every couple of years...or less.
The A192 fits the bill nicely. It's a well designed, well thought out item, and like all Carhartt products, built to last.
There are plenty of various sized pockets inside and outside on this bag to accommodate the smaller items I need to carry, even two pockets large enough to hold microphone pouches. The main storage space is wide and deep enough to hold the various cables, cords, power extension, and power strip I need.
While my use of the A192 doesn't exactly fall within it's original design intent, it's well thought out design and layout makes it adaptable for a variety of uses.
I expect I'll be using this bag for a long time."

This is what I call a Bag!
Date:July 11, 2009
"This bag is made to outlast the user. The construction if superb and the pockets in it sure could teach the makers of luggage for traveling a thing or two. It looks so good you could take it on a trip, at least you would know that it would make it in one piece."
