"The 4 gentlemen that these were ordered for are very impressed with the style and comfort. The duribility/quality is still yet to be determined - but the guys think they will hold up much better than previously purchased Rain Jackets. They like the sleeves since they do not allow the rain to travel back up the arm."

"My rain jacket is perfect. Here lately Tennessee has been like Seattle with rain and I have to work out in it. My rain jacket keeps me dry and warm and in turn keeps me in a good mood. If you don't have one of these rain coats I recommend getting one!"

INCREDIBLE Rain Coat!!!

"Seriously one of the most impressive items Carhartt makes in my opinion! Bought one for my Dad and wore it a couple of times and HAD to get one for myself. TOP quality and well made. Super flexible PVC material that really makes the coat impressive. Double snap front closure. Neoprene (wetsuit material) inside wrist cuffs. Long coat length goes down well below waist line. Large hood that snaps on and can be removed. Three PVC lined pockets with velcro closure. Corduroy lined collar. Sizes run a bit large so my suggestion to go a size down than your usual. I have a yellow one and is very bright. Dirt/mud wipes off easy. All I can say is bring on the rain!!!!"

"This coat runs HUGE. I am 5'10" and 200 lbs, I wear XL in everything, so that's what I ordered. I also ordered a Large for my son. I got them both and I could SWIM in the XL. I put on the LG and I could even go down one more size! Also, I ordered green and it says green on the package but it's darn near black, it looks NOTHING like the green in the picture, which I kinda liked. Also, it's got 2 layers of snaps with an inner flap you snap, then an outer flap and NO ZIPPER, which means it's not really quick to put on. It's an excellent coat and you will NOT get wet, but I just thought you should know."

The Best PVC rainsuit ever

"I've owned a lot of PVC rain suits, I've owned cheap ones, expensive ones... But this one, priced just right, has been great. I beat the heck out of this thing. Mine is yellow, so one day I used it in the snow for flagging, the next day I was digging plants out of the ground in the rain. Or I'm bushwhacking and cutting trees down, no matter what the job, this suit will last. I don't even have a scratch on mine, lots of mud, but no tears or sign of wear."

"I havent actually bought one for my self but I have tried one on and they let me test it because it was raining and all I can say is wow I need to buy one for my self. I thought because it was pvc it would be stiff not at all it was not. Go out and get one be great for work or play."

"Having reviewed heavy duty rain pvc rain gear from multiple big name companies, the Carhartt PVC gear is hands above anything else. The overall quality of the sealed seams and stitching is fantastic and the PVC material is durable and has enough elasticity to it that it helps you move over rough terrain and obstacles with ease. The best thing is that Carhartt is one of the few manufactures to make durable, affordable rain gear in a tall! At 6' 6", it nice not to have rain gear that over tops my boots or too short in the arms and torso. The gear is sized large so layer for cold weather is easy. Great product that is comparable or better than gear costing hundreds of dollars. The only negative thing I would have to say is that availability for tall is extremely limited."

Man's Rain Coat

"I've tried a few different rain jackets before this one and none of them work, they all breathe, which is code for "the rain sweats through and you get wet anyway". Not with this one, it does'nt breathe so you stay 100% dry in everything from wet snow and drizzles to all out downpours. It does hold in heat which is great for spring, fall and winter. It will get a little warm in summer but usually if it's raining hard enough that you need this coat it's cool enough that you'll be alright. Snap front works fine, keeps you dry. The coat is wind PROOF not wind resistent which is useless I've actually used it on windy days when i was working and it was'nt raining. Snap off hood is great for say if you're washing you're truck in cold weather and you do'nt need it. Definitely recomend this coat, stop debating go buy it now.The price is right."

"This is the best rain jecket I have ever owned. I use it at work and hang it on cotter pins and safety wire all the time. The most I ever get is a small hole wich is easily patched. Other jackets will rip wide open in the same situation. However they do not breath and are prety warm in the summer."

"This rain coat was thoroughly tested on my cattle ranch in Alabama during a few of the rainiest months of the year. Believe me, you won't find a better rain coat anywhere from any company! Superior quality, materials, and and construction, make this jacket perform as advertised. It keeps you dry!!! "Bought this bright orange rain coat to go with the pvc Bib Overalls to use commuting to work on bicycle in all weather. This is one well-made coat! Four big pockets, comfortable corduroy collar lining against your neck, totally indestructible fabric, and the best feature is the wrist-hugging elastic cuffs that keep out the wind and rain. In this coat, stormy weather is practically irrelevant. My only reservation is the weight of the fabric and the fact that it does not breathe, so it's not for hot weather. Other than that, highly recommended."

"The raincoats are used outside in Ohio to load pipe on flatbed trucks. These are the best suits we have ever purchased . High quality , heavy material . Not flimsy. Great stiching and reinforcements, The cuffs which keep the rain out of the users sleeves are great. We dont have anything to say negative about the suits"

"My husband had been searching for a good quality rain coat. He has to work out in the weather alot and couldn't find any he really liked. "heavy duty material that will clearly last a while. Keeps you dry and very warm....maybe too warm if the temp is warm outside. If you run hot, try the breathable jackets. Otherwise, this serves it purpose and I would recommend it to anyone."
