"I bought this jacket for my husband to replace an older one he had outgrown. The Large, rather than Medium, and the Green vs. the old Blue, has made him happy. Me, too."

Great jacket!
Date:March 3, 2011
"This is an amazing jacket! Being a lineman, this jacket is perfect, it's not too long and doesn't get in the way of my belt and it's very warm, never have a problem with the wind. I would recommend this jacket to anyone who works in cold weather with a tool belt!"

Classic Carhartt
Date:January 18, 2011
"I've been wearing Carhartt apparell since i was five years old. Its the most comfortable and durable clothing you can find. I got this jacket around thanksgiving. Its the same i've always had but i've never done as much work in them as i have this one. I do alot of work on our family ranch, where im always wearing my carhartt. I've rubbed it along barb wire, old fencing, and even ran it over. It looks brand new even after loads upon loads of laundy. Its the best jacket i've ever owned and will be buying them for me and my future kids for the rest of my life. Great purchase! Get you one!
p.s. ive yet to be attacked by a wolf, but I believe the jacket would do the job! :)"

My Birthday Present
Date:January 9, 2011
"My husband bought me my Carhartt for my birthday. I had been looking at a Carhartt for about a year. After having some very cold weather in Indiana, I found the pockets without lining...cold. Therefore tonight I made a BIG improvement to an already great coat. I took some fake lamb's wool material and made a pocket pattern and started cutting and sewing. I now have lined pockets in my Carhartt. Suggestion to Carhartt...line your pockets for cold weather!"

Great.....but
Date:October 3, 2010
"This is a great jacket with one huge exception - the hood. With the hood up, if you turn your head even slightly to the left or right you can't see a thing. The hood does not move with your head and you wind up with zero visibility. Other than that, it's warm and rugged. But I would not recommend it for anyone who plans on using the hood while doing anything but looking straight ahead."

Great All-Purpose Mid-Weight Jacket
Date:July 14, 2010
"I purchased this jacket as my "mid-weight" jacket for those temps just above freezing through the 50's-60's. It's not warm enough (by itself) for raw freezing and windy conditions, but it's perfect for everything else. If you layer it with something else underneath (a vest or thermal layers), it certainly becomes usable in colder temps and provides an excellent heavy duty outer layer. The material is the right combo of toughness but still very flexible and broken in from the day you bring it home. I have the tall version and it fits generously. the inside material might be a little too rough for some, but it's by no means uncomfortable."

A serious jacket!
Date:November 25, 2009
"I've had this jacket for two winters and it is one tough jacket. A cold wind blowing is no problem for this jacket, as wind will not penetrate! Finally, a zipper that will not fail!
Highly recommended.
