Last forever
Date:June 30, 2011
"I have two pairs of these but really only need one, the only real damage to my 8 year old pair is a small chemical burn, and they've been used hard. As others have mentioned, there really needs to be a snap to keep the leg zippers closed as they open often and let in cold air and debris. The only other issue I've found is that they don't fit quite right per pants size and need to be tried on, rather than ordered."

Great overalls, need buttons!
Date:March 28, 2011
"again, awesome product, you need these, but why dont they come with a button at the bottom of each leg opening that keeps you from walking on them? very simple fix, so fix it already! two buttons by bottom of zipper one for each leg-done! besides walking on them from time to time because there are no buttons to stop this, they are great bibs!"

best in outdoor work clothing!!
Date:January 24, 2011
"I have worked on the railroad for 30 plus years. Carhartt jean bibs for summer and Carhartt duck bibs unlined and lined for winter. This combonation has kept me warm through my career. The only thing I can see to improve this fantastic clothing line would be to put snaps on the bottom of the legs of the duck lined bibs."

Lovin' these Overalls
Date:January 19, 2011
"I bought my stepson these overalls for his birthday present. He loves to ice fish, but everytime he comes back from the lake he is frozen. Once he tried these overalls for the first time, he didnt get off the ice til late at night, he had been there since early morning. I guess they worked, kept him warm and toastie, fishing all day and out of the house......Worked great for both of us!"

best of the best
Date:January 3, 2011
"I work on boats and spend hours in the freezing cold. I have spent hundreds of dollars on other coveralls. Only to have to layer my clothing and making it difficult to function until i purchased my carhartts. they keep me warm in the snow, ice and frigid temps durable and always very professional looking. During the winter they are always near me."
"Honestly? Carhartt makes the best work wear out there! These bibs are my second i've had to buy, only because I grew out the last pair, but I didn't blow them out. These have honestly lasted for years and will continue to do so. If you work outside during the winter months, you really need to own a pair of these. They fit so comfortably and are so warm. I also own and wear Carhartt coveralls as well, but the good thing about the bibs are if you ever need to work inside the same day you're outside, you can just take your jacket off and keep your bibs on with a hoodie underneath. Anyway, get these, you really won't regret it."

5 years and going strong!
Date:November 2, 2010
"I initially bought these to pair with my Carhartt jacket. In the winter, I do snow removal and am often fighting brutal Minnesota elements. Between the salt and constant movements, grease and grime, few things last longer then a season. 5 years later and these things still look great and feel great. You may have to buy a second set though, if a buddy tries them on, you won't get them back!"

Can't beat Carhartt
Date:October 3, 2010
"As the director of a 100 acre farm animal sanctuary, I am out in the weather 365 days a year caring for the animals. I have tried other brands of quilt lined overalls over the years...but always find myself coming back to Carhartts. The others just don't hold up.
The one weakness in these fine overalls is the leg zippers. I have several pairs of Carhartts hanging on hooks that are all several years old and still serviceable...except for the zippers.
Adding a bottom leg flap with a snap would help keep the bottom of the zippers from getting caught on tractors and other obstructions (or bitten and pulled on by a hungry animal) and broken.
I hate to have to go buy another pair of overalls for the upcoming winter just because all my other pairs are "flapping in the wind" at the legs. It is just about impossible to find a commercial seamstress who can remove and replace these heavy duty zippers...I have tried with no results.
But, barring the vulnerability of the leg zippers, Carhartt makes the best cold weather overall on the market...bar none."

Best overalls I have ever owned

Review 15 for Men’s Duck Bib Overall / Quilt Lined
"Purchased these to work around the house and move snow around in the winter. Since I've purched we haven't had any snow yet. We did have a couple good enough days that I could ride my Harley to work (35 miles one way). It was 26 f when I left in the morning so I figured I would try them out. All I had on under was blue jeans. I was amazed. My legs did not get cold at all. Being able to ride when its a little colder out than what I usally do will pay for these in no time saving gas riding instead of driving the truck. Thanks Carhartt."

irritating suspender buckles
Date:January 11, 2010
"This rating may seem confusing. I love my Carhartts except for one thing....the new style suspender buckles. My work/activities using the insulated bib overalls include climbing ladders, bending over, sitting, and everything in between, and the buckles are continually coming un-fastened....very irritating. Son and son-in-law have same problem. My son finally wrapped duct tape around his buckles...this looks quite tacky, and would be unnecessary if the older style buckles were used...or an option for them. I will buy the "next best brand" of bibbers with "stay fastened buckles"instead of Carhartts unless buckles are changed. I would only recommend these to others if the buckles were replced with "stay-fastened" ones."

AWESOME !!!!!!
Date:January 10, 2010
"These things are very WARM! When I wore them to work I was very comfortable. Never felt cold. The only thing they need is a snap at the bottom of the zipper. If you need to stay warm when it is cold they are worth it at 10 times the price."

durablitiy that last forever
Date:January 2, 2010
"I bought a pair of Carhartt insulated bib/coveralls over 9 yrs. ago when i first moved to Wisconsin and now live in Minnesota. The appearence of the overall is just worked and used with yrs. of more useage. The Quality is outstanding. And comfort is unbelievable to this day. I didn't know it got that cold here in the upper states till my first winter here. At the time i moved here I was walking everywhere i went such as to supermarkets and work. I lived in St. Croix Falls, WI and worked in Minnesota at the time. I bought these insulated bib coveralls at a fleet mill in St Croix Falls, WI. hoping tey would keep me warm between my home and work since i walked everyday Monday thru Friday and some weekends. These bib/coveralls di more then just keep me warm and comforable but kept me alive and not freeze to death each day or night i walked from work to home since it was about 10 miles from work and home. Still today I still have these coverall/bib and use them in my business and for emeremcy times during winter months. Thanks Carhartt for such great makings of a useful outer garment."

"After ten years working outside all winter long in underground manholes and up on telephone poles, my bibs finally wore out. Santa brought me a new pair for Christmas.Tough as nails and will keep you warm in temps down below freezing. I started the phone company in Carhartt and some day I will retire wearing my Carhartts."
