Super Warm Heavy Duty Vest

"I have owned two of these vests. Both have been super warm and well made. Heavy YKK zipper. Large warm lined pockets. Inside pocket with velcro close at top. The quilted lining is very warm. Great for putting over a sweatshirt. A bit bulky and stiff to wear a jacket over it but can be done. I gave it 4 starts in comfort due to it being stiff and rides up when driving or sitting."

"I've had this vest for a few yrs now, its cozy. I like it cuz I can regulate my temperature when I wear it. I pair it with a Carhartt zip front hoody (k22) on warmer days or a heavyweight hoody(k182) on cooler days. As the day warms up I can wear just the vest with a T. Vest has a longer tail which is great to keep your lower back covered but you'll have to unzip if your going to be sitting, the long tail pushes the vest up some when driving or operating equip."

"I have always bought this particular style because the fabric is extremely durable and the arctic quilt lining is so warm. I am 5' 9" at 160 lbs. so I"m a slim guy, I have always bought the size small and it always seemed to have been a little too small. I recommend sizing up on this one. Outstanding product nonetheless."

"If you like wearing vests to keep warm this is the one to get. I have had this vest for at least 6 years and it is the only vest I will ever wear at work. Throw it over a sweatshirt and it gets me through 10 degree weather all day. Wear it alone and I'm comfortable up to 50 degrees easily. I don't even think that I've put a scuff in this thing it's so tough. This is what I expect out of my Carhartt gear."

"I love all carhartt gear.I moved to colorado from so calif.The weather in calif doesnt compare to colorado hands down.Carhartt gear gives me more protection and warmth than any dickies gear can offer.I work in the towing biz and my vest and insulated coveralls give me the comfort and durability that i depend on day and night and anything else that inclement weather has given me!I will continue to purchase all carhartt gear that is offered any day!!!"

"I like the vest for working outside and for walking in winter. Great comfort and warmth. My only complaint is it is a little too long. When I sit down the vest rides up around my chin and back of neck. Otherwise, the vest is great."

"My husband's prior vest has worn out. He wanted one just like his old vest. So to Carhartt web site I looked. Found almost the exact duplicate. One difference...the new one has the storm flap which was not on his other vest. He is so pleased that he has the same type vest he was so accustomed wearing. My husband does not like change.
Pockets he wanted, especially the inside pocket. He has it!!! Thank you Carhartt.

"I bought this vest as a Christmas gift for my fiance per his request. Although the vest I ordered was different from the one he initially wanted, he likes it better and is very happy with the style and the warmth it provided during a recent 3 hour outdoor snow removal stint! The only problem with this vest is that it is stiff; hopefully washing it a few times will soften it."
